Founded in 1891

Immanuel - God is With Us - United Church of Christ was founded in 1891 becoming a cornerstone of the village of Bartlett. The bronze bell was donated in 1892 and still rings out today as does music from the pipe organ constructed in 1919.  And God's enduring love remains steadfast with this congregation, a congregation centered on Christ.

Pastor Erwin joined Immanuel United Church of Christ in July 2023 following the retirement of Pastor Susan Tyrell who had served the people of Immanuel and the greater community for 13 years. Pastor Erwin brings to Immanuel beautiful leadership, thoughtful sermons and song and is helping to guide the congregation as it seeks to find its next pastor. It's an exciting time for the congregation and in the life of the church.

"The United Church of Christ is a welcoming denomination and the people at Immanuel United Church of Christ have welcomed me and my husband with open arms. It's a welcoming congregation and a beautiful place to worship."
